I have been wondering about the BMR calculator I have been using and started looking around. It seemed like it was a little to permissive in relation to restingĀ rate calorie requirements. I looked at this one and it seems very good and alot more realistic.

I just checked it out. Its still pretty general but for a quick reference its a pretty cool tool. I do like the calculater on here better though. Where you log into your food Journal and calories burned and it will give a pretty specific calorie requirement.

Ok so based on this I have been eating 300 to 400 too much each day, this may be why I have not lost anything lately.

it’s dEEs… i’m taken aback when these things say i should consume over 1600 cals/day to lose…
